Other Devices
There are many other devices for dealing with incontinence, and after adult diapers here
is the next most popular. The Foley cath.
The foley cath, is used most often when diaper changes would be a burden on the staff, or the
person is unable to urinate naturally as in surgery ect.
As with anything "introduced" into the body these will cause an infection, it's just a matter
of time. If your Doctor wants you or a loved one to use these, do yourself a favor, and
as about the risk of these compared to diapers.

As you can see, near the tip is a "bulb". The bulb is inflated with a syringe
filled with water. In order to remove the cath from the bladder the
"bulb" must be "deflated".
More will be added to this subject in the near future....
